Hello

My name is Melissa Richards, and I am a second grade teacher in Tomball ISD. Most of my experience has been teaching 4th grade math/science, but I have loved the change to becoming a self-contained second grade teacher.

I enjoy helping kids develop a love for learning and growth while using technology in their daily learning. For this passion, I have joined the ADL program at Lamar University to work toward a masters degree in Applied Digital Learning.

I have 13 years experience in education and look forward to connecting and learning from others. At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tim, of 17 years and my four children.
