All through school, I have always enjoyed projects where I get to put my stamp on things so people get a sense of who I am. Being the owner of my ePortfolio, I'm in control of the design and content. Although I am required to submit certain artifacts, I get to use my voice to show that I am an elementary school teacher who teaches all subjects while continuing to be a life-long learner. Hopefully through my work, it is apparent that I enjoy allowing my learners to lead the way while I support and coach them.
I hope that my ePortfolio will allow me to become a digital leader by sharing my experiences with other educators who want to learn how to leverage technology in their settings. Many of my peers teach middle and high school students, but I want to share that we can even allow our youngest learners to utilize technology as they become self-directed learners. My hope is that I can take theories of learning and provide ideas for elementary school teachers to help their students take ownership of their learning. Currently, I have my projects listed under my ADL menu of my ePortfolio. In the future, I would like to add a new tab which documents TTESS evidence that I can share with my administrators. Since this will be on my ePortfolio, a wider audience can take some of my ideas and implementations and find ways to utilize these strategies in their classrooms.
